Early bird registration still available for the 10th Annual Skin Spectrum Summit

Registration is open for the 10th annual Skin Spectrum Summit and the 4th annual Indigenous Skin Spectrum Summit, running together on October 4th and 5th.

The Indigenous Skin Spectrum Summit will be held live on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.

On Saturday, October 5, the Skin Spectrum Summit will run in the same venue from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.

Both summits are educational congresses of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing better dermatologic care for Canada's diverse population.

Some of this year’s faculty for the Indigenous Skin Spectrum Summit include:

Conference chair Dr. Rachel Asiniwasis (Regina): Founder of Origins Dermatology Centre, a combined multidisciplinary model that services both the general population and provides outreach clinics (in-person and virtual care) for underserviced remote and rural Indigenous (First Nations and Metis) communities.

Dr. Reetesh Bose (Ottawa): Director of the Skin of Colour dermatology clinic at the Ottawa Hospital.

Dr. Carolyn Jack (Montreal): Founder of the McGill University Hospital Network Center of Excellence for Atopic Dermatitis, Canada's first tertiary care centre dedicated to adult atopic dermatitis.

Faculty for the Skin Spectrum Summit include:

Conference chair Dr. Andrew Alexis (New York): Professor of Clinical Dermatology and Vice-Chair for Diversity and Inclusion at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. He is the former Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West.

Dr. Renée A. Beach (Toronto): A dermatologist practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology, she enjoys treating a range of skin conditions and the therapeutic challenge that comes with treating the same condition effectively in different skin types.

Dr. Anna Chacon (Miami): Dr. Chacon is the only dermatologist serving the secluded Alaskan Bush region, often travelling by bush plane for patient care. She also provides vital dermatology services to Indigenous tribes across Florida, Alaska, and California, and offers teledermatology services. She also founded Indigenous Dermatology, a nonprofit focusing on dermatologic health in rural and tribal areas.

All faculty presentations and panel discussions will be live-streamed for virtual attendees. All conference recordings will be available to registered delegates after the live meeting.

Early-bird discounts for in-person tickets are available for delegates wishing to attend on a single day or both days. Registration for virtual attendance is also available.
