The head of the Hair Loss Clinic at the Women's College Hospital in Toronto will be the special guest speaker at The Canadian Association of Scarring Alopecias' upcoming meeting on Monday, Sept. 28 in Toronto.
Dr. Jeff Donovan, medical director of Donovan Hair Restoration located in Toronto and Vancouver, will be presenting on “What's New in Scarring Alopecia?” at the 6:00 PM meeting, which will be held at the Canadian Tire Conference Centre at 2220 Yonge St.
The CASA is a group of women and men of all ages who have lichen planopilaris, frontal fibrosing alopecia, and central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia.
“We recognized that there was no Canadian outlet to share what limited knowledge there is about scarring alopecias and we wanted to talk to people who can empathize and actually understand the challenges we face,” state the CASA on their website.
